In Sompunt, a fraction of the Abbey community, which is particularly known for the lake of the same name at 1,460 m above sea level, deer and red deer, also called noble stags, can be observed from close up. On a meadow and forest area of seven hectares, these graceful animals, which are among the largest wild animals in the Alps, are housed.You can move freely in their spacious enclosure and be watched by visitors along the 2 km long circular route. The circuit of this popular destination starts at the Paraciora hut, which is reachable by car and next to the beautiful farm of the Sompunt family. On the sun terrace you can go there with local delicacies or a fresh cappuccino, for children there is a playground.Please note that deer and deer are wild animals.
