    The Benidorm bullring was inaugurated on July 8, 1962 with a mixed bullfight by the rejoneadores Ángel and Rafael Peralta and the matadors Paco Camino, Jaime Ostos and Juan García Mondeño. With a capacity of 10,160 spectators, it has hosted major events such as the Benidorm Song Festival. Unfortunately, it has been closed for security reasons since 2018 and has not hosted an event since then. This is due to the fact that the bad structural situation was reported, which discouraged the holding of major events. Now the Benidorm bullring will be transformed into a multicultural and multifunctional space that will expand the range of activities and culture in the city.
