Serbian-Orthodox monastery, extremely hospitable - I was allowed to spend the night here despite the expired Diamoniterion. After dinner (pepper stew) I even got an exclusive guided tour through the treasury, library and icon collection by monk Vasiliou.

During a fire on March 3rd and 4th, 2004, many ancient church treasures, icon murals (frescoes) from the 12th and 13th centuries, as well as the White Rest House and a very old guest book fell victim to the fire.
