It was a Galerieholländer with Steert and Segelflügeln. The height was 18m,
the gallery height 7 m and the wing flight about 18 m. There was only one shot with Minden sandstone of about 1.50 m in diameter.
The former tenant Tamme Wiebersiek had meanwhile built his own mill.
Since 1949, the siblings Klaashen were owners of the mill.
In 1965, the cap, the wings and the gallery were demolished because of dilapidation. Bunker, king and spur were used in other mills. The octagon was closed with a roof. The grinding process was now driven by an electric motor. This was installed in the octagon and connected via a pulley with the Klauspill. Later, a hammer mill was installed and shut down the grinding. The mill building and the miller's house served as storage space for the land and coal trade of the family Klaashen. Later, the millers house with the adjoining storage sheds were sold to the Raiffeisen cooperative. The mill torso remained in the possession of the Klaashen family and declined more and more.
At 1.02. In 1992, the Scheweling brothers from Marienhafe and Ms. Gisela Beckeraus Marburg bought the mill's torso. Under the direction of Alma Siebels and Wiebke Bruns, the mill association Schweindorf e.V. was founded on 18.06.1992 with some residents.
He made it his goal to restore the mill to full functionality. Wiebke Bruns became the first chairman, Erhard Pfeifer the second chairman and Harm Dittmer the mill attendant. Hans Jürgen Bubolz took over the cash management. A license agreement has been signed with the owners for 20 years. Since 1997 Holger Rathmann is Chairman of the Mill Association. In 2002, the owner Gisela Becker leaves her share in the mill to the mill association Schweindorf. So the mill association was also mill owner.
