Taber Tenement House

The oldest residential booth in Dobra Nowogardzka ("Taber" boarding house)
It is located at ul. Kosciuszko 4 in Dobra. It is distinguished by white walls and contrasting dark beams of the transom. The date of its construction is evidenced by the inscription on the cap beam between the second floor and the gable: Glory to God alone. A man who trusts in God's grace will not suffer any harm, May 20, 1695. The building is an excellent example of residential construction in Western Pomerania. Inside, there is a separate economic and residential hall, expanding in the courtyard part.

The tenement house survived World War II, but its condition was not the best. Initially, they tried to live in it, but in the end it was abandoned. Fortunately, the Provincial Conservator of Monuments, from 1970, carried out renovations in it for 10 years. After its completion, the Registry Office was located here. In the end, the tenement house was bought by a private person who changed it into the Taber Guest House, and the name is supposed to suggest the first known name of the village, i.e. Daber.
