Large fishing town at the mouth of the Lagune Ebrié where the Vridi Canal connects to the ocean. Increasingly dominated by fishing population migrating to and from Ghana, with most boats now carrying English names and bible quotes. English is also spoken by most of the population here, as well as shared traditional languages, and some French.
