String Lake is a popular, shallow lake in between the larger Leigh and Jenny Lakes. You get fantastic views of the rugged peaks across the water with plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities. String Lake is also a popular swimming and (non-motorized) boating spot. Many people will bring paddle boards and kayaks and paddle up to Leigh Lake, which is only accessable by walking trail or water.
