On the Virgin Island, a small piece of land with an area of eleven football fields, the lighthouse which illuminates the ocean is the tallest in Europe. Raised 82.5 meters above the ground, its beam reaches up to 50 kilometers on clear days.
The lighthouse is open for tours during spring and summer. Maritime connections allow access from the port of Aber Wrac’h and the tip of Castel Ac’h. A gîte open in the old caretaker's house can also accommodate you for one night.
