This atypical residence is distinguished by its facades entirely adorned with over 650 colorful ceramic plates, dishes, and tiles.
Initially, the site was a royal nursery in the 18th century before becoming a farm property.
Doctor Louis-Léon de Brondeau (1820-1906), a humanist doctor, farmer, and art collector, transformed the building at the end of the 19th century.
In 1880, lacking space to display his collection of enamels and faiences indoors, he decided to embed his pieces directly onto the exterior walls of his house.
