Branching off the much more popular Bench Trail, this is a relatively wide but unmaintained trail that leads through a thicket of shrubs and valley oaks. The path follows a seasonal stream and ends at a barbed wire fence at around 2.9 miles from the trailhead. Although the hike is not overwhelmingly beautiful, you can enjoy distant views of Mount Defiance and Chalone Peak, two of the highest mountains in the Gabilan Range. It is also one of the quieter options in the Pinnacles.
