Alongside the road that leads to the fishermen's beach, after a small climb, we find ourselves in front of the Church of Sant'Antonio and its convent, still inhabited by the Franciscan friars.
The church originally dedicated to Santa Maria delle Grazie was destroyed with the eruption of 1301, the area where it was then rebuilt, maintaining the originality of the site, is in fact called dell'Arso. The Church was already present in 1225, when San Francesco was still alive. For this reason, the convent is considered the oldest in all of Campania.
