Rathausinsel in Lauffen und Altstadt

Very beautiful landscape that was created here by the river. The town hall with its very small park invites you to relax. The view is terrific.

Running on the Neckar and the bridges are very worth seeing.

At least once you should cross this bridge and look around at this "rock in the surf" if you drive here regularly.

For racing cyclists, the town hall is not spectacular. The sight is just on the way. All around, however, there are many beautiful ways. Either you cycle flat along the Neckar (in the south it is very nice to Hessigheim, in the north to Heidelberg), or you cycle east to the Löwensteiner mountains.

Actually nice, but the main street ruins it a bit. If you want to take a break, better in the city park right next to it.

The Lauffener Rathausburg has the only remaining residential tower from the Salier period in Germany. Since 2006 it has housed a museum with an exhibition on the everyday life of the people in the Salier period, on the Lauffen Count Castle in the 11th century and on the Counts of Lauffen as reflected in their time.
