A small, rectangular building made of hewn field stone was erected as early as the 13th century, but underwent numerous transformations in the following centuries. Attention is drawn to the wooden, square top of the tower with a copper-covered pointed cupola. Round windows with white plaster frames on the north and east walls immediately catch the eye. On the south side, slender, low ogival windows and three unique niches under the eaves have been preserved. The eastern gable with a tripartite stepped panel seems rather unfinished. On the west side, there is a beautifully designed granite stepped portal with profiled imposts.

The church and the cemetery are surrounded by a wall. In the south-west corner is the tomb of Chamberlain Carl von Arnim (+1913) and his wife.
