The Calanque de Sormiou is one of the most famous calanques in Marseille. Located in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille, it offers you a breathtaking landscape and a large sandy beach! After a long descent, you will finally see the cove. Paid parking awaits you there if you come by car. This is a survival of the private property which belonged to Countess Marie de Buret known as Marie de Sormiou at the end of the 19th century, a woman of letters who participated in the work of Félibrige.
