Memorial of the battle of Marsaglia (1693), in which 12,000 people died for a very important cause that no one remembers anymore. The cross was erected in 1913. On the wall that runs along the road there is a permanent exhibition of images that tell the salient episodes of the war of 1693 (more details: comune.volvera.to.it/turismo -e-sport/battle-of-marsaglia/ ). It can be reached from Rivalta via a long cycle path, or from Volvera via easy dirt roads. Recommended visit.
