The old lighthouse at Cabo Higuer marks the starting point of the GR 11 through the Spanish Pyrenees. The GR 11 runs from Cabo Higuer on the Atlantic to Cap de Creuz on the Mediterranean from west to east through the entire Pyrenees. It will cover some 40,000 vertical meters in ascending and descending and 800 km.
