The Agnona bridge is considered one of the most beautiful stone works in Valsesia. Built between 1778 and 1782 thanks to the project of the Napoleonic architect Nicolao Boine.
In 1800 the Sesia river marked the border between Italy and France and the customs offices and guard posts were built just below the bridge.
