Today's parish church of St. Peter and Paul was built in 1708 and expanded in 1963. In 1990 it underwent a thorough exterior renovation. In autumn 1997 the interior renovation was successfully completed.
In addition to the three altar paintings by Paul Deschwanden and the Crucifixion group (around 1500), it contains the magnificent reliquary from 1489 (a gift from Bishop Jost von Silenen) as a remarkable gem.
