CRASM, Wild Animal Recovery Center of Montejunto, was founded on September 1, 2007. It is a joint project of Quercus, Parish Council of Vilar and Grupo de Escuteiros de Vilar, also counting on the important support of the City Council of Cadaval.

CRASM is part of the National Network of Recovery Centers coordinated by the Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests (ICNF), and works fundamentally as a veterinary clinic for wild fauna, welcoming animals that are found weakened or injured accidentally or due to the action of the man.

The CRASM facilities are located on one of the slopes of the Serra de Montejunto, on the upper edge of the village of Tojeira, parish of Vilar, municipality of Cadaval, at an altitude of 239 metres.

The operation of CRASM is largely dependent on donations from individuals and companies, so if you wish to make a contribution, you can do so in several ways, namely:

    - Sponsoring animals in recovery.

    - Donate materials or equipment useful for the operation.

    - Volunteering, integrating the volunteer team (Recovery or Environmental Education).
