A rigorous climb, reaching the top of this peak is well worth the effort! Views of open meadows and the old-growth cedar grove along Spar Creek and the wonder that is the Cabinet Mountains, you feel a sense of accomplishment for conquering this epic challenge. There is plenty to enjoy on this trail and at the top of Spar Peak, but be careful in the rainy season as it can get very slick.
