The name of this spring is controversial, on current tourist maps and tourist signposts they state Rudolf's spring, on old maps and some current ones they state Grabner's spring.

The Grabner Quelle spring is named after Grabner, who was a prominent forestry expert in the 19th century and carried out arrangements in the forests of Liechtenstein. There is a commemorative plaque on the upper side of the pylon from the road. The water is partially radioactive, like most springs in the Jeřáb massif (1003 m above sea level), and due to its abundance, the construction of a spa was considered before World War II.
