Shortly after takeoff, these three Polish Łoś were intercepted by German Messerschmitts and shot down. One of them crashed in the forest near Dłutów. All crew members survived. The other two planes and their crews were less fortunate. Some of the victims rest in the cemetery in Dłutów.
