    Valle Mandriole, also known as Valle della canna, covers an area of 260 hectares and is located north of the flooded forest of Punta Alberete. Two observation towers are present, one located under the Lamine embankment and the other, less visible, 2 km further north, accessible from the Augusta estate. An expansion of approximately 40 hectares of the valley is planned, demolishing the current embankment to allow the water to flood new lands. The depth will increase from the current 30 to 80 cm, thus improving oxygenation and creating a constant flow of water from the Lamone to the valley through the construction of a connecting canal.
