The pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the A.G. Wildervanck Canal named after him. The bridge connects the two banks of the canal in the immediate vicinity of the spot where the canal cuts through the elongated cover sand ridge, on which one of the largest Mesolithic settlements in northwestern Europe was located.
