It is rare for a cyclist to notice this road that goes up to the Rozas neighborhood, a town in the municipality of Soba in Cantabria at an altitude of 391 meters above sea level and with about 150 residents. However, this area is well known by mountaineers since from a little above this place begins the ascent to Pico San Vicente, emblematic summit of the Sierra de Hornijo. The road has been remodeled in 2022 and now you can go up perfectly with the road bike since it has a fantastic layer of asphalt, what you are not going to get rid of is some good ramp, especially just before arriving to town. When you get to the top you have 2 options, turn around and go down the same place you went up or continue forward, but that is another matter since it is a route not suitable for fine cyclists, hahaha. You can see how the itinerary is in my route titled "Secondary roads of the Soba Valley"
