Corral de Calatrava is a municipality that is located in the heart of Campo de Calatrava and through its term run the Guadiana River and its tributary, the Jabalón River. The Peñarroya Volcano is one of the best examples of Strombolian edifices in the Campo de Calatrava volcanic region. In Corral de Calatrava is the Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation, a Gothic-Mudejar building from the end of the 15th century. From the same century is the Hermitage of Our Lady of Peace and the Hermitage of San Antón.

The Puente de la Ovejas is from the 16th century, where Paleolithic remains have been found, there is another from the 18th century with seven eyes.
