The Cathedral of San Juan Bautista in Albacete is an impressive Catholic temple located in the historic center of the city. Its construction began in 1515 on the remains of an old Mudejar church and was completed in 1949. The cathedral combines several architectural styles, including Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-Gothic.

The construction of the cathedral began in 1940, after the old church of San Juan was demolished to make way for the new structure. It has an impressive neo-Gothic façade with two twin towers each over 50 meters high. With the patronage of "John the Baptist," this parish has chosen a saint who is considered a forerunner of Jesus Christ.
