Phase 4 of the Augie trail meanders through a forest with some patches of fir trees. It connects to Augie 2 at its eastern terminus and Augie 3 to the west, completing the Augie loop.

This portion of the Augie also links up with the Pa-Huska Nature Trail, a short trail which can be followed South to the Native Hoofed Animal Enclosure.
