The Abenaki Museum is certainly one of the must-see stops on the St. Francis South tour. The outdoor setting is magnificent, with several shaded benches and riverside access. There are also three level 2 charging stations, allowing you to refuel your vehicle while enjoying the surroundings! Founded in 1965, the Abenaki Museum is the first Indigenous museum in Quebec.
In addition to the permanent collection, you can also explore a small riverbank trail with interpretive panels that allow you to learn more about the Abenaki nation.
