The bay is really beautiful. The path to the bay is rocky and a little slippery. Once at the bottom, you can cool off in the cold, turquoise water. Sturdy shoes are an absolute must - just not with flip-flops or "designer" sandals or similar.

The most beautiful view from here falls on the twin bays of Porto Timoni below Afionas. Hiking sandals, sports shoes minimum recommended. In the morning sunrise, the peninsula is especially beautiful.
