Tips
This trail is best done going uphill. Downhill is quite unpleasant. Very steep and eroded particularly at the top.

The best part of this route is to do it early in the morning with a good breakfast. In an hour and a half to two hours, you'll reach the famous Calcilarruego viewpoint. There, you'll have lunch, take photos, and then it's almost entirely downhill to Cola de Caballo and the parking lot.
