The Skorocice reserve was created in 1960 in the village of the same name. It covers an area of 7.7 ha. The facility includes a unique karst valley, 750 m long and up to 80 m wide, created as a result of the collapse of fragments of karst caves and the erosional activity of a stream flowing from springs in the upper part of the gorge. Moreover, it is cut into gypsum rocks to a depth of several meters.
