Giuseppe Gambirasio (1930-2016), its author, wrote in this regard: "It is a civil work that takes on the archaic form of a Doric column: an image consecrated in the collective memory and therefore strongly representative. The look at the past cannot be understood as mimesis and flattened, lazy and lazy references, but as an intelligent filter for the emotions of listening. This is because knowing how to listen to the past means listening to the ancient sounds of contemporary man"
