Mountain biking
While named as a waterfall, Whetstone Falls is more of a serious of whitewater rapids along the East Branch Penobscot River. This spot is very popular with canoeists and kayakers. There is a small picnic area located just next to the falls, making it a great spot to stop for a snack and watch the watersports enthusiasts do there thing.
