Poplar Hut is part of the Maine Huts &Trails network of huts located in the state. The hut is one of the most popular to hike to as a day hike, being a short 3-mile uphill walk from the trailhead located near the airport. Accommodation is available, but it must be booked ahead of time. There is also a small cafe which makes it a great resting spot for a day out on the trails.
