The Ebmeyer farm is one of the 6 Sattelmeyer farms around Enger, 5 of which still exist. These are said to have been founded around the year 800, during Widukind's lifetime. The Sattelmeyers had to provide a rideable horse that was always saddled.
Even if today's buildings are of more recent origin, one looks in awe at the imposing courtyard. There is also a QR code on the driveway to the courtyard that provides additional information via audio clip. From the north there is a ban on passage through the courtyard. Confusingly, there is no prohibition sign from the south. It doesn't matter: the marked hiking trails lead around the farm grounds anyway, which would definitely be the recommendation, because that's how you pass the beautiful ponds.

Partially very deer rich round. In the first pond you can let the dogs swim in warm weather.
