One of the few chances to find a place for the night on the western HCMH between Phong Nha and Ke Sanh, just shortly before the most mountainous 70 km start.

An authentic homestay experience in a shared room in a stilt house. The friendly Ba Na/Bahnar family doesn't speak any English, neither is there any wifi or mobile connection (VietTel). But they can provide a proper dinner and a small breakfast. Besides, you will quite likely have the chance to join a popular beer and karaoke session. The whole stay/experience for 200K VND.

I passed here in May 2025 and couldn't stay for the night because they were renovating. So I don't want to tell people not to go here, but just keep an alternative at the ready if you plan to come here. You can camp a bit further down the road instead, so if you have the gear, that is a decent option 😁
