In order to get to Forest Nature Area, you must first go through Parker Mills County Park. You will go under a bridge and follow a wooden boardwalk back into the 17 acre wood. This area is very unique as it hosts a large variety of wetland wildflowers, so it is advised to visit in the spring or early summer to see the plants in full bloom.

Access and Parking
Forest Nature Area can only be accessed by walking through Parker Mill County Park. There is a parking lot for Parker Mill off of Geddes Rd. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the Parker Mill entrance to get to Forest. Forest is accessed by walking on the Hoyt G. Post Trail— the trail enters Forest when it goes underneath the railroad bridge. The park is sometimes inaccessible in the spring when water levels are high.
