Scarlett Mitchell Nature Area is a 50 acre park that is south of Ann Arbor. The park is home to various wetlands, where visitors can see a variety of birds, reptiles, and amphibians. There is free parking at the nearby school. It should be noted that the trails can become water logged during heavy wet spells, so adequate footwear should be worn.
