Lüttje Brügg

A pedestrian bridge over the Sieltief canal has been documented since 1704. It connects the more agricultural eastern part of Ditzum with the more densely populated first part. It was formerly called "Loegsbrügge" because it was a bridge belonging to the municipality. The current design dates back to the bridge's reconstruction in 1891. This allowed for the passage of heavily laden peat barges.
