Its attractive design is characterized by a hipped roof and is composed of two rows of twelve slabs each.
It was used until the 1960s, when a new, larger, more open laundry room was built.
Although rehabilitated in later years, the batteries did not meet the needs of the washerwomen, so it has once again fallen into disuse.
