I was here on February 10, 2023, for the women's sprint. You have to experience it for yourself. A fantastic facility, and the atmosphere here is fantastic. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who make this possible every year. I was able to witness Denise Hermann-Wick run to the World Sprint Gold Medal. Very, very nice.

Oberhof is known for its winter sports, especially biathlon. At the Grenzadler there is the biathlon station where the World Cup is held every year and even the World Cup in 2023. The Rennsteig runs along the Grenzadler and there are many beautiful hiking opportunities and, in good weather, a wonderful panoramic view because you are there at 835m NN.
