Hiking
The 4.2 km long watercourse comes from De Mortelen nature reserve, flows more or less in a northerly direction, bends south of Lennisheuvel to the west and finally ends in the Beerze.
For a long time it was a dead straight drainage ditch, dug in the 1960s as part of a reparcelling project, but in 2003 the watercourse was redesigned, with meanders and a wide riparian zone with pools and wetlands. Thus, an ecological corridor was created.
