The Tagus-Segura transfer is one of the largest engineering hydraulic works in Spain. The construction is very interesting and serves to divert the water of the Tagus river from the Entrepeñas and Buendía reservoirs to the Mundo river, a tributary of the Segura, through the Talave reservoir. This tunnel (the Talave tunnel) is 32 km long.
