This section is an absolute dream. It can be tackled with any bike, with only a slight incline and wonderful peace and quiet. Driving along the railway tracks, far away from any road, is pure enjoyment. Definitely worth a tour, even if it's not a "gnarly" single trail. Great for gravel bikes.

Mountain biking

Through the Schandental leads a little traveled bike path. The beautiful, original landscape and the absolute silence are always impressive. If you're lucky, you'll encounter the Ulmer Spatz (rail bus), which manages the Alb climb from Schelklingen to Münsingen.
