The Remersdaal Viaduct is a railway bridge near Remersdaal in the municipality of Voeren in the Belgian province of Limburg. The viaduct is located northeast of Remersdaal against the Beusdalbos and spans the Gulp. Other nearby places are Obsinnich to the north west and Homburg further south west. The structure is made of stamped concrete and is part of Spoorlijn 24, which was built in 1917 by the German occupiers during the First World War. The viaduct is part of the Montzen route. On October 1, 2013, around five o'clock in the morning, a freight train loaded with cars collided with a stationary train on the viaduct. There were no fatalities or injuries, but material damage was extensive. Three wagons with cars plunged more than 20 meters.More and source at nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viaduct_van_RemersdaalA little further on you will also find the Remersdaal Tunnel - see nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunnel_van_Remersdaal
