Every year on August 15th, the Church celebrates an event that even has the status of a solemn feast in the (Catholic) liturgical calendar: the Assumption of Mary into Heaven, popularly known as the "Assumption of Mary." In the missal, the daily prayer for this special occasion is as follows:
