Housed in the recently restored former Dominican monastery, the museum documents seven hundred years of papermaking tradition. In a large room from the 14th century on the ground floor, the medieval fulling mill for manual paper production has been reconstructed. The museum shows how paper is made and an exhibition of watermarks with information on how they were made.
