The Hüttenberg - Grotzenbüel gondola lift takes you comfortably up to 1559 m above sea level.
As a replacement for the double gondola lift, Switzerland's first group cable car was built in 1990 from Hüttenberg to the popular Grotzenbüel ski and hiking area. The cable car operates with two groups of 4 in summer and winter. This allows you to easily reach the Glarus mountains and the wonderful Chämistube mountain restaurant with a fantastic view of the Ortstock and Tödi.
