The Spey Viaduct is an impressive bridge spanning the River Spey. Built in 1886, the it carried the Great North of Scotland Railway until its closure in 1963.

Today, the viaduct carries pedestrians and cyclists over the river. The views and huge arch are fantastic!

This impressive viaduct was completed in 1885. It once served as a railway bridge. In 1968, the train service over the bridge was discontinued, the rails were removed and the structure renovated. Since 1981, this footpath and cycle path has crossed the bridge, allowing you to experience the fascinating relic up close.
